Current News

1. A presentation of People & Places, the online social community for people with special needs. The event is being held at Gainsborough House Hotel, Kidderminster on 17th September 2008. Please click on Noticeboard and then Events and Conferences for further details.

2. Arts 'n' Care Conference - 29th & 30th October 2008. National Event showcasing the effective use of the arts in social and health care over two days.

Its My Life Podcast Launch - Thursday 28th August

It’s my life podcast launch – The Learning Disability Partnership Board will be hosting the launch of the podcast on August 28^th between 2pm and 4pm.

In Control have made a DVD, which shows people who have taken control of their lives with individual budgets to buy the services they need and want.

The podcast contains four films about how people with a learning disability are using their budgets. The launch will show how people can use the podcast.

The Learning Disability Partnership Board will be hosting the launch of the podcast on August 28 between 2pm and 4pm.

New Publications

Congratulations! "In Our Shoes" DVD Team

In October this year the "In Our Shoes" DVD won the Best Documentary category at the Oska Bright Film Festival.

Congratulations to everyone who took part in creating this fantastic documentary and those who supported people in doing so. Well done!!
